KINARNI - Bring Value

Helping small & medium businesses unlock their full potential through efficient innovation and innovative execution

ABOUT

I started out as a researcher. In a career spanning 20 plus years, I have had the opportunity to work on technologies at different levels of maturity, and to deliver innovative and effective products. Products that met the needs and bettered the lives of customers in several different regulated and non regulated markets, especially those in the challenging health care sector.

Through my career I have gained an understanding of product management and development, scaling, statistics, process control, business strategy and execution, big data and automation.

I have had opportunities to collaborate across the product commercialization process. I have collaborated upstream with product management to understand customer needs and product-market fit. I have worked with R&D teams to innovate and solve technical challenges of product development. I have engaged with manufacturing, process and marketing teams to scale these ideas and bring them to market and have worked on product lifecycle challenges. I have worked with operations, data and finance teams on business and technical process optimization and automation to improve efficiency.

I have learned a lot, and have a healthy respect for the challenges faced by people working in the different areas of a business in trying to bring value by meeting and/or exceeding customer and business needs.

About Kinarni Process Continuum
Strategic Value.
Financial Value.
Market Value.
Operations and Product Lifecycle Value.

That was about business value.

As much as I can, I look to bring value through all my activities. This could be value to family, friends or society in general.

Life takes it's turns! So too for me, as I juggle certain new priorities, I look to helping innovators, entrepreneurs and SMB owners in their journeys to unlocking and bringing business value, by providing services in strategy, innovation-commercialization cycles and data analysis.

As a trained scientist I was intrigued by my experiences with business. During my MBA, I attempted a scientific look at business. I tried to answer the question - 'A good business is a function of which variables?'. The answer as with many enlightened social endeavors is nuanced, built on hard numeric data, interwoven with fuzzy social structures, interactions and biases, all there waiting to be unpacked! A good business strategy is able to harness the beneficial power of these interwoven constructs and improve those that are currently business detrimental.

A call-out to another one of my ongoing entrepreneurial projects on cellulose valorization. Here, I explore opportunities to develop a sustainable platform using cellulose, to create value added sustainable (bio)-materials.
